In 2014 Kindergarten is still half day which is complicated for working parents. Also there is no before and after school on site. I must say I have been impressed with the one on one attention they give to each student. They get a chance to learn that their own speed. Each student meets individually with math and language teacher. My child is doing enrichment which was not possible at catholic school.

Mars primary center is an excellent academic school.I have found the teachers have been extremely helpful.the communication between teacher and parent are above average correspondence.the only negative issues I have with the part time kindergarten schedule is extremely hard for single working parents.

While this school has some great teachers the administration is strict and very unwelcoming. You are not allowed to eat lunch with your child and they limit the classroom parties to only 3 parents per party. This is not a warm fuzzy environment which I prefer for ages 5-7. It's rather quite sterile. My children did learn quite a bit but I have not been overly impressed overall. Parents are very involved in the PTO and do as much as allowed in the schools so that is a plus and Mars is a great community.

Currently the Primary Center serves morning and afternoon kindergarten (bus transportation both ways) and first grade. Murray is an excellent art teacher. Teachers now have to teach gym class instead of a gym teacher. Offers gifted support as early as kindergarten. Great music teacher.
