'Quotes Submitted'

What does 'summary viewed' and 'details viewed' mean when you view your 'quotes submitted' page? The consumer viewed the summary with just the rate and full 'lender fees' and then clicked on the details to get the breakdown? Is that how it works? Perhaps one of the lenders with simultaneous consumer profiles can tell me what happens on the other side. :)

The way that it has been explained to me is that Summary Viewed is when they see the overview of their quote, like when we look at it and we see our offer with the other offers, just rate and total costs.

Details viewed is when they actually click on your quote and see your notes and breakdown of fees.

That's what I figured. If I kept track of the actual quotes and what I said in the comments section, I could try to figure out which startegies worked to get them to view the details. If it was just rate, or something I maybe said to get then to take a look. I don't do 'form' comments, and try to tailor each one to the situation.

Thanks :)

I hear what you are saying but the client still has to be enticed enough to actually click on your offer to see your notes. I have taken the same stance as you in tayloring what I say to each quote but none of the clients that show as Active or Summary Viewed have even had a chance to see the notes. That would be the one main thing that I would like to change about how the system is set up, I would like our notes to either be included in our emailed offers or make them more readily available. How many of the leads or offers that we have made may have had a different outcome if they could view our notes and not just the rate? Its hard to say but I like to think that the contact ratios might be a little bit higher…

I think they would be- I'm surprised the notes are not available in the summary view. They should be. Get on that Zillow :)

I think like maybe the first few lines should be viewable, in the summary. That would make sense. But, as far as getting as analitical as you are Jennifer, I wouldnt.  I dont write from scratch for every qoute, but I have a fast and efficient system for getting customized notes in.

As someone else pointed out elsewhere, the rate of "click through" is going to be bad no matter what. Take Lending Tree leads for example. They've put in social, d.o.b., work, cell, email, address etc and still it is an uphill battle to get them on the phone sometimes let alone close the deal.

This is the polar opposite of that and so, is much like putting out cheese baited mouse traps. You can put as expensive cheese as you want in it, but you are going to catch more mice overall with more traps, no matter how you slice it(bad pun sorry)

haha... I agree- I don't go toooo crazy, just little tidbits. It's just too bad, especially when someone is merely rate-shopping.
