A crazy market.  This home in NM, Sandia Heights, Albuquerque.  Listed for 315,000.00.  A sold sign in the yard.  Now it is 340,00.0.00 and on the market all within a month.  No one moved in, just a BIG price jump.  Why does this happen, usually.

The property at 5719 Lost dutchman is listed for $299,000 and has been at that price since November 8th, 2009.  MLS#667250.

Changes in price on the Zillow system are based on like sales in the area.  Even though the price might go up on the Zillow system the fact that the property is still available at $299K means no one has been willing to pay that price yet so we do not have an accurate value of the true home price until it is actually sold.  That could be above or below the asking price.
