Hello everyone, I am considering buying a home, have yet to see a realtor or spoken to a bank about lending options, as you can see...very very early in the game.Lets start with FHA homes, how do I know what homes are FHA approved? Is there a way of knowing via Zillow? FHA homes simply mean that you only have to put 3% down instead of the 20%, right? If I dont have the exact 3% what happens? What if I only have 2% (I am looking at a max home price of $200,000)In regards to foreclosures, the one true advantage over a regular sale is the fact that you have a better chance of getting a bigger house for the buck? How about closing fees and such. If I only have for that 3% down and cant afford the fees am I out of luck in purchasing a home? Will banks or even the sellers pay for that? How about property taxes, I have to read up on the homestead exception, but the cost of the monthly payment can include the property taxes or do I have to save for the separately? It would be better to be included in the monthly mortgage...out of sight out of mind kinda of thing. When 'shopping' for a realtor are there any key questions that I should ask before I commit to one realtor? Is it right to work with more than one realtor? From where does the realtor get his cut? Does it come out of my pocket or it's somehow taken from the sale. That's all I have for now, I know that some questions might seem very novice in nature but I rather know the correct answer that assume.Thank you for your help, ceez
