That is exciting news. How much money are you putting down?

before we found the fixer upper, our budget was ~1m. We have 200k in cash.
We're hoping to get this place for 850, but want still want 100-150k for renovations, trying to figure out the best way to structure something.

Santa Clara FHA loan limits is $729,750.00, with Flagstar Bank in no case will it lend more than $729,750 for a 1 - unit. You should be able to structure this deal.

203k lenders in California
My wife and I are looking to buy our first home. We found one that has the potential to be our dream home but needs some work, and we're looking for the best options on how to move forward.
I've read about using a 203k, are they still available in CA?
We're estimating about 100k in renovations, is that doable with a 203k?
Thanks,
Gaurav
