The photo of this property is not accurate. It appears to have a shed behind it, which is now attached to the home (crookedly attached at an odd angle). The property is quite overgrown, especially in the back, and the back yard is all but gone because of the addition. Also, there is another house to the right in clear view of the tiny backyard, yet not shown here somehow. There's no prior sale info available. How OLD is the pic and how long has it been for sale? What's the deal on this place?

The original structure was built in 1900. The addition is not a shed but a bedroom addition with full bath added in 1991 with a flat roof. The property is not overgrown, however, the terrace above the rear facade escalates to a height of 40' as a ledge buffer from a street above as is typical for all houses in this section of Pemberwick. The embankment is full of mature trees and shrubs and is essentially a land buffer.
The property was originally listed at in the upper 500 range.
Currently at $495,000 it is one of four single family residences in Greenwich at this price point.
The property next door listed for $489,000 also was built by the same builder and had the orginal owner during its ownership. The property is in contract and is anticipated to close in June or July 2008. The photos are recent.
You may desire to visit my website at www.drewpeterson.net There is also a visual tour available.
The property is also listed as a land option as the parcel allows for Single Family, 2unit or possibly two townhouses on the property which is located in an R-6 zone allowing maximum square footage of approximately 3500 SQ FT.
As in any anticipated property purchase, a buyer may hire indpendent building/soil/water/lead etc tests and inspections prior to transaction closing. If you are interested in the other listings in Greenwich area in this price range you may email me or call me directly.
