2984 Lexington Circle, Carlsbad, CA

We are absolutely mystified by the Zestimate $346,300 for this specific home.

First of all, it has never been renovated, has all of the original kitchen countertops, cabinets and interior walls from 1984, and is located on a circle with no open views.

We own a unit the same size as this, completely renovated, with a deck, tiled patio, 1,000 square foot yard and a panaramic ocean view...that carries a Zestimate of $312,000??? (We also have a similar unit next door that has not been renovated that sold for $399,000 over a year ago, that carries a similar Zestimate of $312,000?)

We understand "comps," but why would a unit such as the one at 2984 Lexington Circle carry a Zestimate $34,000 higher than two ocean view homes of exactly the same size, one of which has been renovated?

How can this be helpful to anyong looking to buy a home in the area?
Thanks,

Zillow's Zestimates are not prefect.  We would recommend that you "claim" your home on Zillow and then add your own information about upgrades etc.

The way to do this is to pull up your property on Zillow.  Then locate the Edit drop-down menu just below the photo of the home (or arial photo).  Use the drop-down menu to choose "Claim your home".

We hope that this helps.
