3312 Fleetwood, Amarillo, TX: obviously huge realtor data entry error; shouldn't software detect?

Profile picture for AsherStreets
I was frustrated using Zillow for my home sale, because it didn't include our 2nd parcel in property estimates.  Today I looked up information on a property we intend to rent and saw it was incorrectly listed at $11,000,000 instead of $110,000.  Shouldn't your software be able to detect such huge, glaring errors?  This not only grossly miscalculates the value of this home, but also erroneously spikes the property values for everyone nearby.

Was the $11,000,000 a Zestimate or an asking price for a house that is for sale.    I've noticed today that some of the glaring errors in the new algorithm of Zestimate have been corrected.  If that is the issue, flag the property and note that $11,000,000 isn't reasonable.

Unfortunately the system isn't that sophisticated to assume what the price should be, that's a human function no matter how much speculation is made. If the 11,000,000 got posted it's because it was either manually entered on Zillow or appeared as part of a feed.  Look at the bottom of the page and see where it came from.  It is likely posted wrong there too.

Just have your Realtor change it.

Also, a second parcel means a separate tax ID so Zillow will show it as a separate property, they don't automatically combine them.  However, again, if the Realtor listed it as one parcel, it would have appeared just as posted in the MLS.
