In that case, I really don't have anything for that loan amount and LTV. Plan on needing at least 20% down and preferable more, for a 900k purchase.
What Rob said.

If you can do this fast the temporary agency jumbo Stimulus Bill program ends 12/31. There is at least one lender that will fund until that date. The limit to be funded is $729,750. Add $90K to that and your purchase could be no more than $819, 750. ... Starting 1/1/2009 the limit is $625,500. This is assuming you are in one of the counties that qualify for the maximum amount. .... Good luck!

We should see a complete revamp of the non-conf market soon. You might want to wait to see what happens then. Right now you are out of luck.

The jumbo loan market has been rocked by the market uncertainties. I agree with yaegermike. There has been a vacuum created in that market and it is only a matter of time before some lenders open up programs to fill that void. Expect worse terms than conventional financing, or be prepared to put more money down.

How's that different than jumbo financing has always been? No appetite for it in the current market.

mp22,
Try asking the mortgage brokers you are talking to if they have any portfolio lenders who's guidelines you might fall into. It is a long shot but worth a try.

Have you been able to find a lender yet? I spoke with a collegue in CA who says he might have some options for you.

AZMortgages,
I am looking for a loan under similar conditions as the opp. May I have a referral to the person you are talking about?

90% LTV LOAN
We are looking to buy a home in CA, but only have 10% down payment for a $900K purchase. We both have good FICO scores (788). Is this not possible in today's market?
