Zillow gives computer generated "approximate" values and does not take into consideration location, upgrades or condition of properties. You should either get an appraisal or contact a local Realtor for a more accurate value of your home.

If you need to know the value for a refinance, call a mortgage broker and you can get an appraisal. The value is really important when you need to sell and we are happy to give you an estimate of value, thats our job. Also, Zillow is a computer placing a value on your home, so there is no way it can give an accurate value.
All my neighbors have the same house but your value on my house is $50K to $60K lower than all!
