An addition built on the property 6 years ago is not reflected in the Zestimate

How do i get the Zestimate to reflect the true value of my house with the addition? The eZestimate is based on the original property value and has not reflected the property change. Just trying to see how to get it updated.

Not a problem! Once your listing agent updates the property Zillow should "pick up" the change. If for some reason it does not. Your agent can manually change it on here.

If you list your home you can state that on the listing. If you are waiting for the Internet to update there is no timeframe to know exactly when it will get updated. List your home and add it to the listing will be quicker than waiting for Internet update. Contact me if you have questions.

First you must claim your house.  Next step would be to update the facts. Here you can include your addition and any other updates you may have done.  Once you have done this it will still take a few days to update.

If you list your home it will update from the Realtors information they put on Zillow.  You will need to do nothing.

You need to claim the home to be able to update the facts. Once you have done this it will still take some time see a change if any in the zestimate. This information may also be picked up by your local assessor and can possibly affect your tax bill.

You have an option to update the additions. If you are ready to sell, this can be marketed - but it does take time for Zillow to absorb that. My home has a finished basement for about 6 years now but it still does not show up!

So, it's up to the realtor(r) who will market your home.
