Any advice about the schools in Maryville and area codes or neighborhoods in relation.

I have two young children and am looking at relocating in Alcoa/Maryville area.Is county area advisable for schools or are the city schools a lot better?I am not familiar at all with the area, but have heard you have good schools.Also can you tell me if the healthcare and teaching job markets have tightened as far as job opportunities?Any info would be helpful.

As a mother of three children in the county schools system, I am extremely satisfied. I can honestly say that I cannot think of one bad thing to say about any of our local schools. The local job market is average I would say. I do know that a new city school has just been approved for building and there are plenty of healthcare positions to apply for, as Maryville is within 20 minutes to 4-5 hospitals and many other facilities.I have lived in Maryville my entire life and will never leave. This is a special place that has been ranked of one of the top places to live in America!
