Any advice on the best ways to market a new real estate agent?

What are the best techniques that a new agent can use to succeeded in the real estate industry. Any ideas and past experienced would be well appreciated. Thank you

Sit down and make a list of the people who you know.
Start marketing to them and let them know you are now a REALTOR.
Always have business cards on you to give out to people.
Make your business card stand out from the others.

Using Zillow shows that you are on the right track to being successful in today's real estate market. Utilizing all the resources the internet and social media has to offer will make a world of difference between you and the rest of the pack. Having an experienced mentor and absorbing everything they have to offer is crucial to success. Continuing education and supplemental reading always proves itself useful in gaining an edge on the competition. Most of all, don't be afraid of change! Change with the market and you'll find yourself inundated with leads!

Agreed.  Find the best agent, who is also a great teacher, and be a sponge!  Take as many training courses as possible.  Even when you think you know enough, you realize that there is an infinite amount of helpful information to learn.  Utilize technology, build a database of people that will provide you referrals and put together a killer listing presentation/marketing plan.  I like to read books for agents and watch youtube endlessly.

1. Find a great agent willing to take you on and mentor you.   I did many years ago and it was fantastic.
