A lender will need to place you through a processing system called DU to see if you are eligible for an appraisal waiver under a program called DU REFI PLUS. May I emphasize that all lenders will place you through this same Fannie Mae interface approval system & if your approval requires an appraisal, then you will need an appraisal.....

you dont necessarily need an appraisal waiver. it sounds like u may qualify for a fannie mae refi plus loan. u can borrow up to 105% of current appraised value.

There is some missing information we need. The only way to find out if you get an appraisal waiver under the HARP program ( Home Affordable Refi Program is to pull your credit, and run it through DU ( Desktop Underwriting ). If the findings say "property inspection waiver" then you're off the hook!
