Do an eye to eye. Online is so impersonal and you could be talking with someone in their car (office). Go to your bank, since they know you, and speak with the loan officer. It's just that easy. Ask questions and get answers and suggestions.

It's nice when you can meet with your lender, but it is becoming more and more common to be able to submit all documents online via scan, fax and email.  Often times lenders get the process started with a phone call and then have you submit paperwork to them for review.  They should be able to give you a preliminary quote over the phone based on the information you provide them.  Good luck.
