Appraisal question: Ref Bi-Level Homes.Description of my Bi-Level home. Upper level (approx 1500 sq ft) consists of kitchen, living room, dining room, three bedrooms and two full baths. Lower level (approx 1500 sq ft) consists of family room, two bedrooms, full bath and utility room. Passage between both levels totally open, no doors. Environmentally (HTG/AC) controlled by common thermostat. Entrance door at grade level. Eight steps up to upper level. Six steps down to lower level. Lower level approx four feet below grade. Lower level windows approx one foot above grade. I've had two appraisals and both have listed only the upper level as square footage, and did not include the lower level.
