In my part of the country it is very unlikely for a Seller to do an Owner financed type of program. Most want to be done with the process of selling and dont want to deal with a buyer who decides not to make the payments.

Why do you want an "Owner Financed" home?  If it is credit - sit down with a good loan officer who can show you how to clean up your credit.  If it's the down payment - use a program like USDA (available just outside of corpus) or just save up the 3.5% downpayment.  Most of the programs that are advertised as owner financed ask for high downpayments and have very high interest rates.  It's a risky thing now days for all parties involved.  Best wishes to you in your home search - It's a great time to own property in Texas!!

Owner financing is rare for many reasons.   I've seen a couple of FSBO on Zillow mention in the comment section they'll consider owner financing.   You could make yourself more attractive for owner financing by offering a 10% to 20% down payment, and volunteering to pay double market rate interest.

A few, but not many. Your best bet maybe to look for FSBO's in your area who might be willing to consider an owner carry or rent to own. You might also contact a local agent to see if they know of any rent to own properties in your area.

Owner financing homes are hard to find. There are very few available on our mls.  If you want to email what you are looking for I can send you a list of available homes.
