Are you looking for a rental or home to buy in Northern Illinois?

Not all Internet sites have all the available listings. Some sites hardly have any and can effectively waste your time.
In the huge MLS that serves Chicago and out about 40+ miles, automatic downloads to zillow do not occur, so only a fraction of the actual market are on zillow. Agent have to put them on themselves, then they disappear mysteriously. Many agents give up with Zillow listings after awhile, not to mention the crazy pricing-value guess-estimate zillow then assigns to the listings. The listings that are there are often mispriced, already sold or even closed a long time ago.
Try Realtor.com instead or better yet, ask your favorite local Realtor for help and go in to their office or ask them to send you exactly what you are looking for from the MLS.

I totally agree.  Zillow real estate values are a sham, and they are duping the unsuspecting public into thinking they have the same data as Realtor.com.

Only licensed realtors have actual MLS data.  Zillow only has accurate listing data that a listing agent places here.
