In your advertisement for your home, you can put your financing offer in the comment box.

0% interest seems incredibly generous.   What's the catch?

I agree with wetdawgs. Whats the catch?

If you are offering owner financing you can offer any percentage you want

It's your property so you can offer owner carry if you want at 0%. Please do yourself a favor though and have a really tight contract drawn up and make sure that the person you sell to is financially solid. Good luck with your sale!

0% financing is possible. I had a loan like that once and I was able to deduct "imputed" interest on my income tax. The seller offering 0% financing usually will get the highest possible sale price.

Please note that the seller may have tax implications if offering a loan at below market interest rates.

Sure, you can do that.  I suggest you merely offer a low interest rate instead; due to inflation, the same money will be worth less next year.

Be aware that the IRS will impute interest on this loan.  Be sure to talk with your CPA as well as the attorney that you are working with on the contracts.
