 There are two types of private lenders basically, soft lenders and hard money lenders. Hard money lenders are basically private individuals.Basically 'soft' is easier to qualify for, hard the opposite. Hard comes from private lenders so their needs are more difficult too, they will a lot of times ask for more than basic equity to qualify.They will only lend you a certain percentage of AFV too. You can also expect to see higher interest rates,(like our lovely bailed out banks who handle credit cards-lol)
There's a lot more to go with this, ask your broker in charge.
