Aurora Bank

How speedy are they at getting back on a short sale offer?  Made it through the negotiator and now is being presented to them (the investor).  They are in 1st position with GMAC in 2nd. Has anyone dealt with them before on this process?

Shorts sales are so sporadic.  It just depends on how many offers were placed etc.  Generally it takes about 3-7 days to get an answer.  If you're concerned, ask your agent to contact the listing agent to get an answer.  Sometimes, there are just so many offers, that the listing agent just doesn't have the time to inform everyone their offer wasn't accepted.

If you placed an offer your contract should have an expiration date.  This means the bank has to make a decision on your offer before the expiration date of the contract...

I hope this helps :-)
