Average utility cost? Water/electric/gas?

I want to know what the average monthly utility cost is for electric, gas, and water (gas heat) in Missoula.

Try going to your local public utilities office in Missoula (a beautiful area by the way) and tell them a few details such as Jim has noted below.  Your address (they may have prior service history available), size of the home, power requirements, number of people in the home, (do you have a large lawn to be watered), etc, etc.  Most public utilities, especially those administered by a city, will have some prior occupant information available.  But Jim is right ...... everyone's useage requirements and utility needs vary ....... so all you can do is seek some past information to make an educated 'guesstimate'!!

Best success ......................

I love when clients ask me this question. I have no idea how many in your family. How often will you be running the washer and dryer. How long are your showers and how many showers will your family be taking a day. how about hair dryers? How hot do you keep your home in the winter and how cool in the summer. Do you use the oven for a lot of baking. How many televisions and computers will be running in the house. Does your family turn off lights when no one is in the room.

In other words, it depends on your personal habits.
