Get me as far as possible from major sports fields!  Between the noise and traffic, I hope the homes are going for super bargain prices.   Obviously there should be no open houses on game day.

I agree the area can get really busy at times. It might not be such a bad time to have an open house since you might get a lot of foot traffic and some rabid sports fans who would love to be able to walk to the games - a luxury people in Atlanta don't have with a lot of our sports teams.

As wetdawgs implied, who wants thousands of lookie-loos trampling through your house just because they have a few minutes to waste before or after a game?

And do people really care enough about a game that they want to walk to each one, and that is a higher priority than job access, schools, and being able to walk to stores?

I know many people in walking distance of the Football and soccer games, and they certainly don't enjoy the noise nor the traffic, nor the trouble getting to and from their house on game days.

Fortunately they have a few other benefits from their location that offsets the sports hassles.

I understand your position. If one was a rabid sports fan - especially baseball - than one might think differently. In fact, when the market was strong, this area around the stadium was very hot (homes were sold very quickly) and the area still has a strong community. The Braves even give the community association a certain number of free tickets for the games. Also, the Braves were a much better team then and drew a whole lot more people. Although, Braves downfall can be a whole topic of debate as well!
