Hi Ivyland! I can't help reminding you that the Co Founder of FSBO, Colby Sambrotto, was unable to sale is place without hiring an agent at 6% (http://bit.ly/ri5Cdq). In fact, statically 95% of FSBO's eventually list with an agent. That being said, as part of the elite 5% here are some things that may help you to increase traffic: Price it right and have comps to support your pricing (keep in mind you don't have the expense of agent, buyers may feel entitled to a lower purchase price for this fact as well), advertise (internet is a must), prepare your home for sale and take great photos, prepare yourself with all the necessary legal documents, make sure you note in your advertisement that you have them and you are prepared. This may help reduce potential buyer's fear about the lack of a professional being involved. Last, but not least, make sure the agents that work the area know that you will pay them a commission for bring a buyer. There is so much more...Hopefully this helps get you going!
