That is pretty good incentive, but here in Houston, if you go throughthe right builder, you can get even more incentive, not just from thebuilder.
Make sure you use a realtor. They can normally look at the comps for a neighborhood, see what other people have paid, know from experience from dealing with the builder and do this all at no costs to you. There's lots of other ways they can save you money and make sure you get what you need and expect from the builder. Don't go at it alone. It's always nice to have another set of eyes on the deal and someone in your corner looking out for your interest.

I've seen many builders offering incentives of many sorts but its truly hard to say if its a good deal until you see what the next buyer walk away with. It's a catch 22 and the only way to push the limits is to go into the offering process with very good agent and to mot be to invested in the home in the forst place. Good luck.
