When Zillow removed "Confirmed Lender" personal contact numbers and their website from their Profile Page is when I asked to be "down-graded" to lender. Now, all my original information is restored. This was my personal choice. Not something that happened by chance. .... Happy funding, Rudi

Why does Zillow only show Tax Assessor info. In this economy in this economy Zillow is actually worthless. If I show the cost of improvements and Zillow HAS comps, why ca't they POST a reasonable
estimate.

If you don't like their estimates; go to any of the competitors for one that is worse. (At least 7 available at last count).
Now as for that hand-grenade, why would anyone want to blow up their own office, or even allow a complainer to blow up the specific desk of the person that was giving them trouble? We saw that before from agent-bob - orange-county. Not even funny.

We show the Tax data on all homes (where we have it.) No-one is suggesting that it's an accurate estimate of the home's value (in fact, by definition, it is not.) That said, many buyers consider taxes when searching for a home and tax the relative difference between assessor's values is often interesting.
As for missing Zestimates; we sometimes don't have enough recent sales data to calculate a useful estimate and in those case don't publish one. Sorry. Here is more about Zestimate calculations.
