Can I get a loan with a Taxpayer Identification Number ?

I don't have a S'S number but I do file taxes with my TIN number, can I get a home loan with it? Just a couple months back my bank (Bofa) sent me a letter saying my credit score was 662, but that i dont qualify with them because of the lack of an SS number. I don't really care where in California (maybe even Texas) the home is as long as I am able to get the loan Any advice will be appreciated.

Yes, there are lenders that are able to help you if you only have a TIN number and do not have a social security number. These loans can be tricky at times but if you have a decent sized down payment then it will be possible for your situation. The best thing for you to do is to speak with a knowledgeable lender to see if you can get started on financing a new home. If you need additional assistance, feel free to reach out. Good luck!
