You (or the owners might actually work better) can flag that incorrect sale. Go to the home details page of the house you feel is incorrect. Look about half way down the page at the PRICE HISTORY section. You will see the incorrect price history entry; at the end of that entry is a little flag. You can click it and notate the issue.

You can report the incorrect sales information on the neighbor's house. If you open their home details page, scroll down to the price history and flag the sale (little flag on the right end of the row of numbers) so that Zillow will investigate and confirm the actual price with county records.

Thanks. That's annoying because they have wrong information about a neighbor's house. They show it as having been sold recently for about half it's true value - $162K instead of $280-290K. The owners recently sold a condo in the same town for $162K. I think Zillow has the wrong information and it's making their estimate of my home value drop.

Here's a link to the Zillow FAQ on the subject. (The bottom line is no, they won't remove it)

Can I have my home removed from ZIllow?
