Absolutely! Contacting a local realtor in your area would be the best option. You can also pull up public records or check your newspaper some will publish what has been sold on a weekly bases.

Yeah I would contact a local real estate agent and ask them to check for you.

You have several options. You can go to your local government offices who typically offer this type of information. Even some local publications provide this date, often in a weekend real estate section. Your best bet, however, is to contact a local full-time real estate agent who would be pleased to sit down with you and discuss your information needs along with other relevant data. Best of luck!

The easiest way is to contact a realtor in your area and find out what recent homes are selling for.

Unless you are in Alaska, Idaho, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri (some counties), Montana, New Mexico, North Dakota, Texas, Utah, and Wyoming which are non-disclosure states, you can use Zillow to look at the information before contacting an agent or to verify what an agent is telling you.  Please keep in mind that timelyness of public records vary, and an agent may have information on more recent transaction that are not yet showing in Zillow.

To search for recently sold prices use the Homes tab on Zillow, on the right hand side of the page click the check mark by the recently sold yellow house icon then enter the City and State, or Zip Code you wish to view, then click GO.

The best way to see the right closed comparables would be to ask your/a Realtor to show them or email them to you.
