Of course they can!

Use the "homes" tab at the top of this page to get to the home search page; type in your search area, press go, then set the filters for the criterion you want, and then choose "save" or "E-mail alerts".  (They do the same thing).

Make sure you use a name that makes sense to you and is very specific for your search criterion.  You can save as many searches as you like, and saving a new search does not over-ride the existing ones.  You can recall or delete your saved searches from your profile page; click on your user name, and then click "subscriptions" in the left margin.  Your saved searches are at the bottom of that list.

You will keep getting E-mails of new items meeting the search criterion until you delete the saved search.

If you want a broader range than one county, or one city, or one zip code, you can just type the State name, and then pan and zoom the map in to your desired search area.  The map region is part of the saved search.  Similarly, if you need a narrower search range, you can zoom the map in for that too.

See Pasadenan answer above.  Although Zillow is an excellent source for information the listings are not updated or monitored like the MLS dealing with a Realtor can help keep you from seeing a house that is not even on the market (see ** Frank LLosa J.D. - Broker, "FranklyRealty" answer about realtor sites).  I am in your area please contact me if you would like help finding your home.

Ron...
There are many ways to get this information.  Claim your property and select the "E-mail" tab.  See what feature you would like to be notified for.  That should help.

Also, I must agree to keep in mind that a local agent in the area will have better access to properties currently for sale and ones that have sold.

Hope that helps!

Yes but keep in mind that Zillow is NOT showing ALL homes on the MLS (most areas), so you might also try a local Realtor's site. Almost every site offers alerts like this.
