Can a co-borrower's income level make up for my small (verifiable) income?

I have a credit score over 800 and many years of bank statements to verify my income, but no pay stubs or tax returns. If a co-borrow has adequate income would I qualify?

To clarify on the FHA question, the FHA UFMIP (Up Front Mortgage Insurance Premium) is financed into the loan so it is amortized over the years of the loan and it doesn't really cost very much.

Yes.  They have an upfront funding fee of 1.75% or 2.25% of the loan amount or something in that area.

Yes you can use co-borrower to help qualify. If you are self employed you could also use your bank statements to qualify your income.
