there are numerous things that could prevent this.  You need to speak with a local Realtor who does business in this subdivision regularly.

Some places do not allow them whatsoever

other places will allow whatever you want to do

other places say boats, trailer & RVs must not be in the front yard.  Side yard or BAck yard is fine
