Can a room without a closet be called a bedroom in Florida?

We saw a 2010 home in Central Florida advertised as a 4 bedroom but the 4th bedroom upstairs has no closet. It has a bathroom,a window but no closet. The county site shows as a 3 bdr. We really liked the home but wondering if could be an issue reselling in the future as a "4 bedroom".

In PA a room must have a closet and a window large enough that an adult can exit from in an emergency.  Appraisers will not consider a room without a closet or window to be a bedroom.

If the home is serviced by a septic system that system will be rated by the number of bedrooms.  If it is rated for 3 no matter what you put in the 4th room you cannot sell it as a 4 bedroom.

I don't believe there is a formal description anywhere of what constitutes a bedroom, but we typically require the room tohave a window and closet to be considered a bedroom.  Otherwise it's a den/study/office. Adding a closet is easy and will add value in the future.

If you like the house and it has 'a room' with its own bath rm. that 'could be' a bed rm. Why not
simply add a closet later if you decide to resale.
Where I live a room like that would be a bonus regardless what it is called, I wouldn't have any problem
constructing a closet in it.
If I really liked the house, I wouldn't  let something that small keep me from buying it.
Consider it a bonus room.
