I'm not local so can't recommend someone I know personally, however I can recommend you consider REMAX. REMAX agents compensation is different from most other agencies, an agent typcially gets 95% of the commission, but the REMAX fees are over $1,000/month. The point is, if an agent is not producing, they don't stay a REMAX agent very long. REMAX agents tend to have higher sales in general. If you like I can research and find a remax agent in your area.
Generally when looking for an agent, I suggest talking to friends, coworkers, family to get a few names of agents they have worked with successfully. Also, look around your neighborhood - if there are realtor signs in your neighbors yards, talk to that neighbor - are they satisfied with their agent? Finally interview a few agents and ask them - how long have they been in business, are they full time, what is their experience in your area, what does their marketing plan consist of, what is their commission? make sure the marketing includes a slew of internet marketing since over 80% of buyers are finding their homes on the internet.
