Can anyone tell me the realistic commute time from the Chestnut Hill subdivision to downtown Atlanta

We are looking in the Chestnut Hill subdivision and was wondering what commute times are to downtown Atlanta on a normal traffic day.  Also what is Acworth like?  We like the small town feel of Marietta (farmers markets, concerts on the square etc.), but so far are having no luck with finding a home there we like.

Depending on where in Atlanta you need to arrive at expect about an hour from Chestnut Hill.  Even though this neighborhood is close to Bells Ferry Rd taking 575 in the morning can be a bear especially once you get to the 75S merge.   I recommend from Chestnut Hill going down Reading Drive to Wade Green and jumping directly on 75S avoiding the merge at 575S, you following me here?

I love the Acworth area.  Lots of great deals house wise and shops and restaurants are near by.  Amenities and lifestyle are available and the downtown area is my favorite when compared to such historic districts such as Cartersville, Marietta or Kennesaw.

Your commute time obviously depends on traffic. From Acworth it normally takes about an hour and 15 minutes to an hour and thirty depending on the traffic. On a day with no traffic about 35-45 minutes.

Where have you been looking in Marietta? Our office is located there and we know where to find the best deals. What are you looking for?
