We have a buyer's agent, but it's late at night and we're just curious. We have the sales history for a house we'd like to make an offer on, which lists several transactions, but we have no idea how to tell what's a refinance, what's a cash sale, what's a mortgage... For instance it will say something like: Instr type: D/T, Grantor name, Grantee name, Consideration $69,750" and then the line just above it reads "Instr type, MTG, Grantor name, Grantee name, $95,000." Is there any way to understand what the house actually sold for from that type of data?
