Can someone help me out with a cheap but good contractor to build a master bedroom for me?

The best way to find good trades people is by referral. If you don't know someone in your area to ask for a reliable carpenter then I'd use web sites like Yelp or Angie's List. Then I'd narrow it down to two or three contractors.  After you interview them and get estimates from them, I'd definately call their references. This will help you decide who to use. You may want to chose the lowest bid but don't forget that when doing remodeling - reliable & dependable - is worth alot. Mistakes are very costly. You want someone who will take pride in their work and in customer satisfaction.
