Why not talk with a lender to see? The lenders are there to look at your situation and determne how they can fit the right loan for you. They look at your income, which includes disability and your debts to determine your ratios. They also look at your credit score. These are the more important aspects of getting a home loan. You won't know for sure until you speak with someone first. It doesn't cost you anything. Try talking with someone at your bank. If they can't assist you, they will certainly be able to refer you to a trusted lender who can. Thank you for your question.

Of course another issue is whether there are any homes available in your selected area with provisions needed for your specific disability.

Any modifications necessary to accommodate a disability would be the responsibility of the buyer.

A person with disability can not be discriminated against in home purchase.   Like everyone else, they must qualify with down payments and sufficient income to pay a mortgage.
