Can the PMI be rolled over?

I bought a house in 2009 for which, I put 10% down payment and pre-paid my PMI. Now, I want to re-finance from my existing 4.5% interest rate. But the current bank, which is holding my loan, does not offer, competitive interest rate. So, I do not want to go through them.

If I re-finace through an outside bank, can the PMI be rolled over? Thanks for your time.

If you bought it prior to May 31, 2009 you might be HARP eligible in which case it could be rolled over.
