If my husband purchased a home in 2001 and sold it in 2007. And recently bought a home in 2009 can he qualify for the tax credit?? Does anyone know??????Thank you

Mike is right. You should be able to get the credit.
Be careful though as when we started looking I found out that my girlfriend could not be on the loan with me as she is self employed and her business is less then 2 years old. So I had to qualify for the home by myself. (nevermind that her takehome pay after expenses then me :P) Of course we were doing a USDA loan so other programs might not be as strict.
