Can we Qualify for an FHA loan?I have been been technically self employed for a little over a year now, but this January will be my second tax return while being self employed. My credit score is roughly 680 at this moment. My fiance on the other hand has been a full time teacher for 6 years now but her credit score is roughly 540. We have recently both signed up for Lexington law services and she has recently signed up for a secured credit card because we would like to buy a home in January. We would have over 20% to put down on a new home because we currently own a pretty nice condo free and clear. I am just wondering if we would qualify for an FHA loan and would and lenders even give us a mortgage? or do we have any other options?August 11 2013 - Newton Falls00YesReport a ProblemProblemSelect oneOffensive contentIrrelevant contentSpam (pure self-promotion)OtherDetailsYour emailPlease enter a valid email address.Submit CancelContent flaggedWe will review this content.
