Once the listing expires, if it goes through an automatic feed into Zillow, it will just be removed and not show up later as an expired listing.  If you know the property's specific address, you can look it up and see that the listing was removed, but without knowing the address you will have some difficulty.  If the Realtor uniquely posts the house on Zillow, then the listing may stay up after it has expired and still show as if it were "for sale."
