You can certainly try and get the tenants to sign a yearly lease, there is nothing stopping you; the tenants on the other hand may not want to do this. Depending on your state laws will determine how much notice you will have to give the current tenant if you would like them to vacate.
Can we set up a new yrly lse. on a prop we may buy if the pres tens are only doing mo 2 mo?
