You can get a range by just looking at what homes have sold for around yours as long as they are close to the same home.  Be careful making adjustments of value based on what your house has or doesn't have compared to the others.  For example, if you added a $40k pool, you wouldn't add $40k to the price of your home. 

Best way to get a value:  Get a licensed appraiser to complete an appraisal.

You can ask a relator in your area to do a CMA for you. You can call an independent appraiser, that will let you know approx what to expect what you may be offer for your home, there is a charge for this.

If you are referring to Zillow, they have a zestimate for which instructions are found on the first thread on this page. That being said, a zestimate is not normally regarded as accurate.
