Good Evening CianaC,
Zillow is simply a consumer site to learn about properties that may be for sale as well as research tool to find a professional to assist them in selling or buying a home. Unfotunately, the information Zillo wobtains is from multiple sources and to the best of my knowledge is a computer program that obtains this data. This information can and will have discrepancies just as any computer program. If your parents are looking for a market value of their home, use the tools to find a professional in the area of their home. Zillow provides great avenues to research professionals in the area! Zillow is not meant to provide an accurate market value that you would use to sell a home, buy a home or refinance, etc. I understand you are upset that the information is incorrect, and there are ways to correct it that you have already been told about so I will not repeat information already put on this forum. I hope this helps!
Have a fabulous evening!

I checked education.com. They don't have any of the public schools listed, so Zillow isn't getting their info from education.com. I wish there was a contact email or phone number for Zillow. This website is ridiculous. The info they are posting can affect price values if someone is trying to sell a house. So much info is inaccurate. Has Zillow ever been sued? Is there a way to eliminate your house from being found on Zillow? I understand what they are posting is public information, but if the information is not accurate they should not be publishing it on such a public forum.

School districts are obtained from education.com, who does them by proximity. As you can guess (and observe), that often mucks things up.
You can flag some of the other homes in the neighborhood and comment that the entire neighborhood appears to be mislabeled.

I am sure I could be a representative for my parents, but what about the rest of the town? You would think that Zillow would have the school's correct.

When one claims a home (necessary before editing), one has to acknowledge that they are the owner or the owner's authorized representative. Perhaps you could be considered the latter.

Can you edit home facts without being the ownwer of the house?
