Perhaps I should explained better instead of responding to Mr. Brady's attack on Realtors.
A real estate commission is paid solely by the seller of the property, not the buyer. If any part of the commission was paid by the buyer, then the price you would be paying is market value plus 3% or 6%.....is it?
The truth is that you pay market value for the property, the seller takes the proceeds and pays the 6% (3% to each of the cooperating brokers) to the listing broker. It is wrong of Mr. Brady to suggest otherwise.

So nice of Mr. Brady to help re-negotiate the realtors commission. Perhaps I can return the favor and tell you to ask Mr. Brady to do his part of the transaction for FREE. After he does a few of these, perhaps he will be less inclined to be such a jerk.
