Can you please re-evaluate my home's zestimate?

Your zestimate does not include any of the renovations done to this home.
I have updated my house's listing and will soon put it up for sale, I've added all the remodeling and renovations that have been done, and I'd like to know if you would please re-evaluate my home's zestimate?  Thank you.

It takes several weeks to several months until a Zestimate updates after adding/changing facts that are part of the Zestimate calculation. As you updated facts three days ago, the clock is still ticking.    Zestimates calculate from the core facts of your house (location, size, number of beds, number of baths etc) relative to recently sold houses in your area.    You may wish to evaluate which comps were used, as hand selection is often better than computer selection.

Upgrades are part of the owner's estimate, and are not reflected in the actual Zestimate.

I wouldn't worry so much about the zestimate.  Many people know that the zestimate is not entirely accurate and is one tool that people use to valuate properties based on what others in the area are valued at.  You are right in that it doesnt take into account the improvements etc.  Its a computer model and its based on public recorded information.  The best thing to do is to have a qualified agent discuss with you realistically what your house is worth and place your home for sale at that price.  We can set an appointment to discuss this.

Zillow readily admits that its Zestimates are merely estimates based upon public records.  You can claim your home & make edits to show the changes you have made to your home, but you cannot change the Zestimate.
