Can you rent foreclosed homes?

I currently rent in North Port Florida, but am interested in renting in Venice Florida since both my jobs are there. I had a hard time finding a rental in Venice because they were either not in my budget, or I couldn't find any at all. I've noticed that Venice has a lot of foreclosures, therefore I was wondering if you can rent a foreclosed home?

I would advise you not to even consider it.  These home are somewhere
between being owned by a bank or an individial, etc.  Once a bank takes possession they will not allow anyone to live there.  Have you tried calling a real estate office and speaking with their rental agent.

If they are owned by a person that bought the once foreclosed home, then they might rent it. If it is a bank owned home now then no, the banks don't rent homes.

No. Foreclosed homes can't be rented.   Lenders are not set up to be property managers.
