My objection has to do with the inaccuracy of zestimates. If you view the home on the map and street view for our listing, it actually shows another home in our neighborhood. The home zestimates used is not a waterfront home, ours is. I have no problem with an accurate estimate, but one based on correct facts, i.e. the right home.

@ Wes: The reasons people object to the Zestimates are many and varied. The bottom line tends to be those who object are those who think the Zestimate is too low, even when these "too low" values are well within statistical range of the true home value (the price someone would pay for it). Occassionally someone objects that the Zestimate is too high (I've seen a couple in the last week).
Zillow does allow appeals (and certainly has responded to the other poster), but will not manually adjust Zestimates nor hide them because the homeowner disagrees with the Zestimate. (An appeal does not mean that the home owner always wins).
My humble opinion? I'd like to have a lot more prominence of the Zestimate range and have the Zestimate less prominent.

Yes, you and about 50,000 other people wish they could turn off Zestimates, myself included! They are way off, and don't do anything but anger home owners and sellers, and give buyers an unreal expectation of what homes are worth, because buyers BELIEVE the zestimates. Very frustrating!!!
Very straightforward - flaws in the algorithm, poor data integrity in how data is imported from 3rd party data providers, lack of public records in non disclosure states, and countless other failings. When the accuracy is so poor it is outrageous that Zillow denies any right of appeal by homeowners, or has provision to conceal obviously inaccurate zestimates.

Who can I contact re: my property zestimate? It contains 2 zestimates depending on how you input the address. The diference, over $100k. Also, I am the other half of a "twin" house- the half I don't live in has a zestimate of $150k more than mine. IT'S THE SAME EXACT HOUSE!!! Can someone please advise how this can be fixed?

I am still trying to figure out why there seem to be so very many estimates that are disputed. Can Someone enlighten me?
The real question is why doesn't Zillow have an option for the homeowner to request zestimates to be corrected or concealed? When Zillow has so many erroneous valuations it is outrageous that they can publish inaccurate valuations of homes without any responsibility for the confusion and chaos they cause.

No, Zillow doesn't have an option to "turn off" the Zestimate.

Can you turn off zestimates?
