"unless otherwise agreed upon in writing by both parties"
(From Sunnyview's link).

Check your contract!  There is always the possibility that you agreed to having the water only running during the day, and that there is an automatic timer to shut the water pump off at night.

Obviously, this could cause issues with needing the toilet at night.  Obviously, you have "one flush" with the water already in the toilet tank.  But if it is a regular issue, you can have a few buckets that you fill with water the night before to accommodate the flushing you may need at night.

Wow I can't believe a landlord would do that. The HUD Tenant Rights, Laws, and Protections: Wyoming web site may have some useful information and resources for legal counseling.

Good luck!

No. Water and heat are essential services that the landlord must make available. You need to read section 1-21-1202 here which requires running water in rentals in WY and then send your landlord a copy and request to leave the pump on so that you can get water as needed.

The pump to the well is in her basement and she gets tired of the pump running all hours of the night. I might add we have 2 rentals in her trailer park.

Hi Tracy!

The rest of your question is missing, it got caught off.  You may want to resubmit your question again.

Even though your question was cut off, if your city/county has a rental board organization, you may want to contact them if you have any wrong doing complaints regarding your landlord. Just as an example San Francisco has a rental borad (www.sfrb.org)

Best wishes.
